About Dance Etcetera
Meet the Studio Team!
It is Dance Etcetera's mission to educate, empower and enrich every student that enters our door while instilling an appreciation for all genres of music and dance in a fun an enjoyable atmosphere.

At Dance Etcetera, we are family! Owned and operated by Juna Broome, the studio has been in business for over 20 years and continues to teach generations of dancers!
We offer technique and training in a variety of dance styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and hip hop!

Juna Broome
Mrs. Juna has owned and operated Dance Etcetera for over 15 years. Her career has included directing band and colorguard as well as teaching, producing & directing music and theatre. Her life is fully dedicated to the arts and has taught generations of successful musicians, singers, dancers and performers!

Sarah Salas
Studio Manager/Teacher
Sarah has been dancing her entire life and is thrilled to be at Mrs. Juna's studio! She specializes in Jazz, Tap & HipHop. When she is isn't at the studio, Sarah can be found directing the color guard at Northeast Jones and manages Public Relations for a variety of local businesses.

Experiences include MS All-State Lion's Band Dancer, Music Education in Piano & Voice, Dance & Colorguard at Jones College, & staffing multiple Pine Belt school's color guard and band programs.

Emaleigh Ousterhout
Ballet Teacher
Emaleigh was born and raised in the small town of Pelahatchie Mississippi. Starting at the age of 5, she grew and expanded her ballet training towards jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and pointe. She’s gotten opportunities to travel with the South East Regional Ballet Association and participate in dance festivals. In 2020, Emaleigh moved onto training at The University of Southern Mississippi. She plans to complete here Bachelor's degree in Dance Performance and Choreography. Emaleigh also has experience with choreography of multiple styles, teaching dance with different age groups, and judging competitions and auditions all over the state.
Scarlett Sandifer
Studio Assistant
A graduate of Ole Miss, Scarlett helps in all aspects of the studio from choreography to clerical work. Currently, she is an Assistant Band Director at South Jones where she directs the Colorguard. Scarlett has an extensive background in ballet, dance technique, theatre performance, band performance and education as well as design!
